Privacy Policy — SMS Addendum (Doper Me)

This SMS Addendum explains how Doper Me (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and shares information related to our text messaging (SMS/MMS) program. It supplements our main Privacy Policy.

1) Program description

If you opt in to receive texts from us, we may send marketing messages, product updates, offers, order updates, and cart reminders. Participation is optional and you can opt out at any time.

2) What we collect for SMS

  • Contact data: mobile phone number, email (if linked), opt-in/opt-out time stamps, consent records.

  • Message data: delivery status, opens (if supported), replies, link clicks.

  • Device/carrier data: device type, operating system, carrier and country (as provided by your carrier or SMS provider).

  • Website data (via cookies/pixels): pages viewed, items added to cart, checkout events, and whether a cart was abandoned.

3) How we use SMS data

  • To send and personalize texts (promotions, reminders, and transactional updates).

  • To detect cart abandonment and send a one-time or limited series of reminders.

4) Cookies & abandoned cart (required disclosure)

Doper Me’s website uses cookies to help keep track of items you put into your shopping cart, including when you have abandoned your cart. This information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages via SMS.

5) Third-party sharing (SMS exclusion)

We may share personal information with service providers who help us deliver SMS (e.g., messaging platforms) under contracts that limit their use of your data.

The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties outside of the service providers that operate the texting program on our behalf.

We do not sell SMS opt-in data or consent. If our broader Privacy Policy discusses data “sharing” or “selling,” that language does not apply to SMS opt-in data and consent.

6) Location data

Location tracking and location-based services: We collect approximate location data derived from your IP address and country information provided by your mobile carrier. This information is used to:

Mobile Terms of Service (SMS)

These Mobile Terms of Service (the “Mobile Terms”) describe the SMS/MMS text messaging program offered by Doper Me (“we,” “us,” “our”). They supplement our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. By opting in to receive texts from us, you agree to these Mobile Terms.

Program description

You may opt in to receive recurring automated text messages from Doper Me at the mobile number you provide. Messages may include promotions, discounts, product launches, updates, cart reminders, and order/shipping alerts. Message frequency varies.

Consent & eligibility

  • By subscribing, you authorize us to send automated marketing texts to the number you provide using an autodialer or similar technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

  • You must be 18+ or the age of majority in your jurisdiction (or have a parent/guardian’s permission).

  • Program is intended for U.S. recipients. Availability may vary by carrier and location.

How to opt out / get help

  • STOP: Text STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a confirmation text.

Delivery / carrier disclaimer

Delivery of messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We may change the phone number or messaging short/long code used to send messages at any time.

Your responsibilities

You represent that you are the owner or customary user of the mobile number you provide. If you change or deactivate your number, you must promptly update your account and/or re‑opt in with your new number to avoid messages being sent to someone else.

Data & privacy

Information about your use of our SMS program is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and the SMS Privacy Notice within it. We do not sell SMS opt‑in data or consent. We share SMS data only with service providers who operate the messaging program on our behalf.

Changes to the Mobile Terms

We may update these Mobile Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued subscription to or use of the SMS program constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
